This policy explains how Med4One handles information when you visit this website or use the Med4One suite — MedLedger, Nucleus and KLINIK (the “Services”).

- Account information — name, business name, email, phone number and licence details you provide when signing up or contacting us.
- Business data — sales, purchases, inventory, customer and prescription records you enter while using the Services.
- Usage data — basic technical logs (device, browser, pages visited) used to keep the Services secure and improve them.
3. Local-first by design
Med4One is local-first software: by default your operational database lives on your own machine. When you opt into cloud hosting, your data is stored in your dedicated cloud database and is not shared across customers.
4. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and improve the Services.
- To respond to support and sales enquiries.
- To send service notices (renewals, security or feature updates). We do not sell your data to third parties.
5. Health information
Prescription and patient records processed through KLINIK and MedLedger are handled only to deliver the workflow you initiate (for example, sending an e-prescription to a pharmacy). Access is restricted by role-based logins and tenant scoping within the software.
6. AI features
AI-assisted features (scribe drafts, recommendations, assistants) process the relevant data solely to generate the requested output. AI outputs are assistive and are always presented for human review.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted transport (HTTPS), authenticated APIs, role-based access and tenant isolation — to protect data. No system is completely secure; please keep your credentials confidential.
8. Data retention and your rights
Your business data remains yours. You may export it, correct it, or request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us. We retain data only as long as needed to provide the Services or as required by law.
9. Cookies
This website uses only essential cookies/local storage (for example, remembering your session). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
